iTrakG Real-Time Asset Tracking
iTrakG Asset Tracking Solution
We deliver robust integrated solutions that are tailored to each customer’s operational processes, enabling the real time tracking of assets throughout facilities, warehouses and yards while increasing operational efficiencies. We provide leading-edge telemetry solutions that capture and deliver highly accurate, critical business information to improve operational efficiencies. Telemetry is the highly automated communications process of which measurements are made and data is collected by receiving equipment at remote points. This data is then transmitted to our comprehensible customized “iTrak” system for monitoring, visibility and reporting of object data answering the questions “who, what, when, where, why and TAT (Time for Average Turnaround)” in real-time.
Most customers utilize barcoding technology today. Our approach preserves this marking practice and simply adds Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and real-time accountability while limiting additional infrastructure costs, business process changes and current system of record (SOR) modifications. This methodology separates us from our competitors.
One and two dimensional (1D and 2D) barcodes are an optical machine-readable representation of data relating to which an object is attached. RFID simply adds wireless no-contact capabilities with the use of radio-frequency electromagnetic fields to transfer data for the purposes of automatically identifying and tracking tags attached to objects to capture information in real-time. Passive and active RFID (aRFID) tags contain electronically stored information. Unlike a bar code, many RFID tags don’t necessarily need to be within line of sight of the reader, and may be embedded in a tracked object making reading tags quicker which saves time and money.
iTrakG and Technology Integration
All RFID tag data is initiated and captured by RFID mobile computing devices that can also read 1D and 2D barcodes and often combined with fixed RFID readers. However, to capture all of the data required for the real-time management of assets and accountability of their use; a combination of RFID, barcoding, visual validation and user authentication communicating to a dependable telemetry system is typically required. Additionally, GPS and a combination of GPS and RFID is used to track items from location to location supporting in-transit visibility.
We deliver reliable solutions that mitigates risks and liabilities by managing Uniquely Identified (UID) assets throughout their entire life cycle joined by capturing live and historical data providing where assets are located, who has accessed them, the activities performed, TAT, metrics and a timestamp of each event.
iTrakG is customized for every customer and integrated with additional important business information. iTrakG supports an infant number of visual objects, barcodes, RFID tags, users, locations, shelves, bins, kits, carts and parent-child relationships across the entire enterprise. In addition, easily integrated with current SOR and third party systems with minimum changes involved. Similar to iTrak’s system customization, so is the process of which data is authenticated, captured and delivered. Any assets can be associated with other assets and alerts set should they become apart.
Real-Time Information
Positioning-centric real-time information is changing the way people, businesses and governments work throughout the world. We are best known for our telemetry solutions that capture and deliver highly accurate, critical business information to improve operational efficiencies. Telemetry is the highly automated communications process of which measurements are made and data is collected by receiving equipment at remote points. This data is captured with a wide range of technologies including GPS, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and wireless devices communicating to our flexible, adaptable and customizable software systems. Our robust software systems provide real-time monitoring, visibility and reporting of data that answers business questions in real-time.
Beyond RFID, iTrak can track assets using GPS trackers that are battery operated or directly connected to power. iTrakG can also track objects using cellular phones.
