Telemetry is the highly automated communications process of which measurements are made and data is collected by receiving equipment at remote points. This data is then transmitted to our comprehensible customized “iTrakG” system for monitoring, visibility and reporting of object data answering the questions “who, what, when, where, why and TAT (Time for Average Turnaround)” in real-time.
Most customers utilize some type of tracking technology today. Our approach preserves this marking practice and simply adds Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and real-time accountability while limiting additional infrastructure costs, business process changes and current system of record (SOR) modifications. This methodology separates us from our competitors.
We use Passive RFID technology to know the X, Y, Z location of all assets in the yard within two (2) centimeters. iTrakG has proven methodologies and mathematical equations that ensure real-time accurate location reporting and no false positive reporting to know the location of assets. iTrakG combines asset location data with the inventory, work flow, schedule, work order, availability and business logic to deliver end-to-end logistic solutions. iTrakG operates on an Oracle platform. Our iTrakG software component is built upon yard management system industry standards. iTrakG manages and tracks the flow of trailers/containers and their contents into, within, and out of the yard. It manages yard operations including dock scheduling and equipment check-in, unsealing, sealing and check-out. iTrakG Mobile Check In/Out, RFID Tagging and Container/Trailer Inspection
The check-in and check-out process is accomplished using mobile computing technology operating iTrakG mobile software and can be combined with interactive displays and fixed tag readers if desired to support fast track check-in, check-out and docked processes.
This same mobile software is also used to inspect containers and trailers.
Passive RFID tags are placed on the containers and trailers at check in and can remain permanent or temporary and then removed upon exit.
